Deep South NZBA BBQ Competition
Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May, 2026
It’s time to turn up the heat. Smoke in the Park is Christchurch's newest - and fiercest - BBQ competition, and it’s calling you to bring the smoke in a big way.
Registration is now open.
Each team can have between 1-4 people - registrations close soon!.
** Pay $50 deposit now, $250 balance payable on or before Wednesday 27th May
Register your team together in one registration and pay one fee of $300 per team. Once a team has registered, tickets are non-refundable.
Meat can be pre trimmed before the competition
Meats must be marinated, prepared and cooked on site once the cooking window opens
Marinades and rubs can be prepared in advance
NZBA Rules must be followed
