If you are a cooker new to the world of steak cookoffs or just want to up your game, this class is invaluable for your competition knowledge and planning!
SCA USA JUDGES RULES

Must be SCA Certified Judge to sign up to judge an event.

Must be 13 years old to judge and have completed an SCA Certified Judges Class.

Judges may not drink alcohol at the judging table.

Judges memberships must be current to judge any SCA event.

When signing up for an event, you may be asked to be a Table Captain, Tasting Judge or a Turn In Captain.

The promoter of any SCA sanctioned event has the right to not allow a Certified Judge to not judge at their event.

Check frequently for new events, we also post new events on the "Steak Cookoff Association Group" page on Facebook.

A full judge is not a good judge. We do not want our judges to judge multiple events (BBQ and Steak) on the same day.

If a spouse is cooking in an event you may judge only categories that your spouse is not competing in.

Final judging seats will be determined at the events by random drawing. All that are signed up and attend event will serve as either a Tasting Judge, Turn In Captain or Table Captain.

SCA does not guarantee the judges the right to take food after an event.

All Judge Meetings will be 1 hour before the first turn in unless otherwise specified on the event flier.
